Columbus Signed forward Pascal Pelletier to a one-year contract.

Detroit Signed forward Ville Leino to a two-year contract.
Edmonton Named Frederic Chabot goaltending consultant.
Montreal Named Pierre Groulx goaltending coach and Perry Pearn assistant coach.
NY Rangers Agreed to terms with forward Christopher Higgins.
